~A Trip to the Museum~

On a recent trip to our museum, Aunt Heathie and I discovered quite a few things...

1. No matter where you are-a two year old thinks fish are pretty cool!
2. Music sounds the best when played on a grand scale.

3. Finn is the cutest neighbor on Sesame Street.

4. It's extremely difficult to catch a picture with a two year old's eyes open.
5. Finn makes the best pancakes in the world!
6. We sure did feel "royally" lucky to be spending such a good time with our little guy.
Most of all, he had so much fun seeing and experiencing all of the incredible things...and there's nothing better then that!

~Holiday Fun~

Where does the time go? It seems we were just heading out to cut down our Christmas tree! And-getting a "big boy" haircut for the holidays...
Well, we certainly survived and had so much fun spending time with our families.
We were nothing short of spoiled...Not just with gifts but with the presence of family and friends from far and near...
It was wonderful to see everyone and hope you all enjoyed the holidays as much as we did!

~Choose Love Instead of Hate~

Proposition 8 The Musical:
See more Jack Black videos at Funny or Die

It's important to me that I post this video. While it is tongue-n-cheek I think you get the general message. With the election of a new President there is an air of change. With that, my family and I are excited and most of all hopeful of what's to come. To be honest~I hesitated when posting this...certainly not because of the entertainment value, more so because I am not looking to offend anyone. However, when it gets down to it...I choose love not hate and I hope that this comes across as such. I think this musical is witty and poignant...although it only scratches the surface of what many of our fellow human beings strive for in America~EQUALITY.

~In Loving Memory~

I just found out that we have lost someone very special to our family. Grandma Carr (seen above with Grandma Casey) recently passed and it is certainly not enough to say that she will be greatly missed. She was a lovely, kind, sweet and caring little lady. She always greeted you with a smile and her laugh was contagious.
Rest peacefully Grandma Carr.

Tommy Lee? Maybe!

Does he look like the next big name drummer or what? He was fascinated by the drum set and could not/would not take his eyes off of the drummer when the band was warming up. The drummer noticed the kid up front starring at him and stomping his foot...he was very kind and offered for Finn to have a seat and test the drums out.He was a natural!

No directions given at all!!!

Dancin', Dancin', Dancin'~He's a Dancin' Machine!

This past weekend we attended a reception for my cousin and his wife. Finn was my date and he danced me under the table! My "dogs were barking" and he kept on dancing!
He danced with Great-Grandma Andrew

He danced with Mama

He danced with everyone!

We are walking for all of those that have heard the words, "you have breast cancer"; for those who support family members afflicted with the disease; for those who have lost their battle. Please feel free to check out our team's page.
