Yes...Yes We Are Slacking!
You can see our little one is still cooking and as of today we have just about 6 weeks to go. I am predicting we will meet our little UFC Champion (at least that's what he feels like in utero) a bit earlier than expected.
Finn has been moved into his big boy room and out of the nursery. Many thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for assisting with the painting...the stripes really came out just as I wanted. Pictures will be posted as soon as we get on line at home again...stay tuned.
Easter sure was a lot of fun....again, pictures to come. Finn was more interested in seeing if the Easter Bunny enjoyed the delicious carrot and lettuce we left out for him than he was looking for his Easter Basket. I think next year, it may be a bit different!
That's all for now~hope all well with everyone!

Are We Slacking?
Let's see what has been going on around here? Well, Finn has been thoroughly enjoying our outings at the YMCA. He has turned into quite the little Michael Phelps (without the bong). He is jumping in and really trying to learn to swim all by himself. No fear...except for when Mama looks over to see him walking right into the pool without any noodle or parental guidance. Oh BOY!
That leads me to the next big thing...some of you may have heard already, we are expecting another boy :) We are cooking along and growing rapidly. Finn is really excited at the idea of taking care of his baby brother. He says he's going to read to him and change his diapers! When asked where his baby brother is...he says "he's still cooking in mama's belly".
That's where we are at now...will try to keep up with my posts.

~Fond Memories~
I have fond memories of listening to Marlo Thomas' Free to be You and Me with my cousin Jennifer. Recently, I received one of the greatest gifts-the Free to be You and Me book! Thank you so much Jen for thinking of us. Now, Finn and I can read the stories and I can think back to when you and I would head up to your room with the orange shag rug and listen to the mini record on your pink record player. How FUN!!!

~Choose Love Instead of Hate~
It's important to me that I post this video. While it is tongue-n-cheek I think you get the general message. With the election of a new President there is an air of change. With that, my family and I are excited and most of all hopeful of what's to come. To be honest~I hesitated when posting this...certainly not because of the entertainment value, more so because I am not looking to offend anyone. However, when it gets down to it...I choose love not hate and I hope that this comes across as such. I think this musical is witty and poignant...although it only scratches the surface of what many of our fellow human beings strive for in America~EQUALITY.

~Baby Mama~
That's right...I am going to be a Baby Mama, again! Yes, Brad is going to be Baby Daddy and Finn is going to be a big brother. We are experiencing a lot of morning sickness (morning, noon and night) as well as some serious cravings. With that said...we could not be more thrilled!
